Online poker room Poker Stars (www.pokerstars.com) has suffered another blow.
Just weeks after its main marketing man, Dan Goldman, resigned to take a job with Duplicate Poker (www.duplicatepoker.com), its Director of Affiliates and Partnerships, Edward Ihre, has resigned to take a job with Ladbrokes (www.ladbrokes.com), a British gambling company.
Ladbrokes operates walk-in sports betting shops in England.
It also has a website that offers online sports betting, online bingo, online poker and online casino games.
At Ladbrokes, Ihre will serve in the newly-created position of Managing Director for its Poker Division.
He will run Ladrokes’ poker marketing and product development teams from London, England.
He will report to John O’Reilly, Ladbrokes’ Managing Director of Remote Betting and Gaming.
‘Ladbrokes is a strong brand in the online poker world and also operates some of the best offline events,” said Ihre, in a press release from Ladbrokes.
“My focus will be on continuing the innovation and growth Ladbrokes has demonstrated in recent years and establishing a market-leading affiliate network,” he added.
