A 23-year-old no-name is the top Canadian player at online poker room Titan Poker (www.titanpoker.com.) James Galvin, of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, won the online poker room’s recent Top Canadian Titan Tournament, Titan Poker announced.

The tourney was held last Sunday. Galvin beat 28 other top Canadian online poker players to win the tournament, Titan Poker said.

First prize was $500, Titan Poker said. Galvin has played at Titan Poker for about a year, Titan Poker said.

In order to retain his title, Galvin will have to defend it, as the online poker room stages additional tournaments specifically targeting Canadian online poker players, Titan Poker said.

Titan Poker is licensed by and operated from the Kahnawake Indian reservation, located near Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
