Another New Room
Written by Tom Somach in Poker NewsEuropean online sportsbook Bet Click (www.betclick.com) is branching out–into the poker business.
The longtime Internet sports betting site, which is based in the U.K., recently added online poker to its repertoire of gambling options.
The new online poker room–available at www.betclick.com/poker–is not allowing those in the U.S. to play for real money, but those in most other countries may.
Americans can play poker for fun at the site.
As for the types of poker available, Bet Click Poker offers Texas hold ‘em, Omaha, draw and stud, among others.
The site also offers a number of promotions, including satellites into the World Series of Poker and other tournaments, special prizes for playing on Tuesdays, bonuses for having high hands and a VIP club.
Beware, however, if you’re planning to defraud the site or its customers.
In light of the recent cheating scandals at competitor online poker rooms Absolute Poker (www.absolutepoker.com) and Ultimate Bet (www.ultimatebet.com), Bet Click Poker is assuring potential new customers that it won’t be tolerating any monkey business when it comes to playing honest poker.
The site declares: “Bet Click Poker has zero tolerance for fraud and collusion. Any player found to be participating in collusion or deceptive practices will have their winnings immediately suspended, will be permanently banned from Bet Click Poker and the winnings will be redistributed to the players injured. Bet Click Poker uses a system which is constantly monitoring various vital statistics and patterns of both in game play and member information, to detect incidents of fraudulent activity.”
