Professional poker player Dave ‘Devilfish’ Ulliott has been selected to give the keynote address at an upcoming poker trade show.

The event, called the Poker Conference and Expo/Casino Affiliate Program Spring Break, is scheduled to be held May 19-24, 2008, at the Grand Resort in Limassol, Cyprus, according to a news release. Ulliot is to speak on May 21.

Poker pro Doyle “Texas Dolly” Brunson addressed the same gathering last year.

Ulliot, frontman for the online poker room Devilfish Poker (www.devilfishpoker.com), is not only a top poker pro, but also a musician, comedian and businessman.

“I never thought I’d see the day where I was a keynote speaker,” Ulliot said. “I’ll have to get cracking on my speech writing now!”

Ulliot is one of a rare group of poker pros who have won both a Word Poker Tour (WPT) tournament and a World Series of Poker (WSOP) tournament.

He is also a part of poker lore, having once laid down four of a kind to Jon Shoreman, who had a straight flush, at an Omaha tournament at the Victoria Casino in London, England.
