Poker pro John “The Razor” Phan has won the Main Event of the Legends of Poker Tournament at the Bicycle Casino in Bell Gardens, California, USA, just outside Los Angeles.

The Main Event, held last week, was a $10,000 buy-in, no-limit Texas hold ‘em tournament that had a field of 373 entrants and a total prize pool of about $3.5 million.

The Legends of Poker Tournament is part of the World Poker Tour (WPT).

Among those participating in the Legends of Poker Tournament’s Main Event along with Phan were top poker names such as Phil “Poison” Ivey, Daniel “Kid Poker” Negreanu, Layne Flack, Allen Cunningham, Maria Ho, Men “The Master” Nguyen, Barbara Enright and Barry Greenstein.

For winning the Main Event, Phan takes home $1,116,428.

Runnerup in the Main Event was Amit Makhija.

Phan’s victory is to be televised by Fox Sports later this year, although a date has yet to be announced.

Dan Harrington won the Main Event in 2007.
