The tourney, officially called the Poker Stars Russian Poker Tour Moscow, was a no-limit Texas hold ‘em tournament with 206 entrants, 27 payouts and a $7,000 buy-in.
It was recently held at the Renaissance Hotel in Moscow, Russia.
The tourney was won by Vitaly Lunkin of Moscow, who earned $445,709 for the victory.
All nine people who made the tournament’s final table were Russians.
Coming in second behind Lunkin was Vyacheslav Goryachev.
In third was Alexander Khousov.
Fourth was Oleg Shamardin.
Taking the fifth spot was Sergey Artamonov. ?? Coming in sixth was Ivan Demidov.
Finishing seventh was Dmitry Vitkind.
Eighth was Alex “The Mad Russian” Kravchenko.
In ninth was Evgeny Onishuk.
