Ultimate Bet Re-ups Pro
Written by Tom Somach in Poker NewsProfessional poker player Tiffany “Hot Chips” Michelle has signed on for another year as a paid flack for online poker room Ultimate Bet (www.ultimatebet.com).
The room announced the news in a press release.
Michelle, 25, of Beverly Hills, California, USA, was hired by Ultimate Bet in the summer of 2008 and signed to a one-year deal as a member of the room’s shill squad, the Star Player Team.
Ultimate Bet head honchos were impressed with Michelle’s efforts at the 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, where she had the best showing of any woman in the Main Event, finishing in 17th place and earning almost $335,000.
Others who promote Ultimate Bet include Annie Duke, Phil “Poker Brat” Hellmuth Jr., Brandon Cantu and Matt Graham. “I’m happy to be signing for another year with Ultimate Bet and I’m eager to get back to playing in live tournaments and exclusively at their online poker tables,” Michelle said in the release.
“The corporate team at UB has been so welcoming and supportive and I’m thrilled to be working with them,” she added. “I can’t wait for the exciting things in store for us.”
It’s been a big month for the dark-haired California beauty.
Not only has she been rehired as a well-paid flack for online poker, but earlier this month it was announced she will appear on the new season of the CBS-TV reality television show “The Amazing Race.”
The part-time wannabe actress has previously appeared on the TV shows “E.R.” and “Nip/Tuck” and in the movie “Semi-Pro.”
