The Poker Stars Caribbean Adventure, the largest annual offline poker tournament run by online poker room Poker Stars (www.pokerstars.com), will be held this year beginning on January 4, 2010, at the Atlantis Resort and Casino on Paradise Island in the Bahamas.

The 10-day, 50-event tournament will feature poker of all types and buy-ins of all levels, with thousands of poker players entering and millions of dollars of prize money up for grabs.

The tourney’s signature event–the Main Event–will commence on January 5, 2010, and last six days.

The $10,000 buy-in Main Event will feature no-limit Texas hold ‘em.

Other events will feature limit Texas hold ‘em, pot-limit Omaha, badugi, draw and razz, as well as small buy-in no-limit hold ‘em.

There will also be two women-only tournaments.

Poorya Nazari won the Main Event at last year’s Poker Stars Caribbean Adventure and collected a staggering $3 million.
