Poker Face Wins

The hit song–titled “Poker Face”–by American pop singer Lady Gaga, was nominated for five Grammies, the music industry’s top award.
The tune won for Best Dance Recording and Best Electronic or Dance Album.
It lost in the categories of Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Album of the Year.
Native New Yorker Lady Gaga, 23, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, wrote the song in 2008 as a track on her debut album.
The song hit No. 1 in the USA, the U.K., Canada, Australia and many other countries last year.
“Poker Face” is the first popular song in history with poker in the title.
A music video self-confessed bisexual Lady Gaga did for the tune features her provocatively playing strip poker.
The massive money-making song has been embraced by the gambling industry.
The Palms Casino in Las Vegas, for example, just announced it had paid a licensing fee to use the song in an advertising campaign.
