Omaha also known as Omaha High.

Omaha is similar to Hold'em.Differences are:

Players are dealt 4 "pocket cards"

You must use 2 of your pocket cards along with the 5 community cards to make you best five card hand.

Betting

Each player is dealt 4cards face-down "pocket cards"

*First round of betting*

Dealer turns over 3 community board cards face-up. "the flop"

*Second round of betting*

Dealer turns over 1 more community board card. "the turn"

*Third round of betting*

Dealer turns over 1 last community board card. "the river"

*Final betting round*

Showdown -The best 5 card hand using 2 pocket cards wins.
example if your cards are 5 3 K A and board is 5 A 7 7 7
you dont have a full house, you have 2 pair 5's and ace's because you have to use two of your four pocket cards

In limit games the maximum number of bets would be 4 if the original bets was re-raised 3 times.Example:

Player 1 Bets $5 ,Player 3 Raises to $10 Player 4 Calls Player 1 Re-raises to $15 ,player 3 Re-raises to $20.

General rules for No Limit Poker

Once you know how to play limit Texas Hold'em or limit Omaha Hi/Lo, the rules to No Limit are very easy to learn. The difference between regular limit Hold'em and No Limit Hold'em is when it comes to the betting amounts. The betting rules are very simple:

Minimum eligible raise: The raise amount must be at least as much as the previous bet or raise in the same round. As an example, if the first player to act bets $5 then the second player must raise a minimum of $5 (total $10).

Maximum eligible raise: All of the chips you have at the table!

General rules for Pot Limit Poker

Once you know how to play limit Omaha high, limit Omaha Hi/Lo or limit Hold'em, the rules for Pot Limit are very easy to learn. The difference between regular limit games and Pot limit games is when it comes to the betting amounts. The betting rules are simple:

Minimum eligible raise: The raise amount must be at least as much as the previous bet or raise in the same round. As an example, if the first player to act bets $10 then the second player must raise a minimum of $10 (total bet of $20).

Maximum eligible raise: The size of the pot. The size of the pot is defined as the total of the Pot in the middle plus all bets on the table plus the amount the active player must first call before raising. As an example, the pot in the middle is $20 and the first player to act in the round bets $15 and the next player calls $15... the third player has a maximum eligible total bet of $80. The $80 total is his $15 call and $65 raise. The $65 max raise portion is equal to the pot of $20 + first player's $15 + second player's $15 + his own call of $15. There is no cap to the number of raises in Pot Limit games.
